About

A blog where stories are shared based on first hand experience with anxiety and depression. A simple and truthful way to show others who have a mental illness or those who support an individual with a mental illness, that they are not alone.

The writer…

I was just a girl who was diagnosed with anxiety and depression at the age of 17. Now 28, I’m here as a young woman to share the struggles I’ve faced and the victories I’ve celebrated. I’ll share a lot in my posts but here are a few things you should know about me. I love country music, my dog…or any dog for that matter. I’m an avid sports fan who knows a lot about hockey. My loyalty belongs to the Toronto Raptors, the Toronto Blue Jays, and too many different NHL players to name them all. I love to watch curling and my heart belongs to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

I spend a lot of my spare time volunteering. I have the absolute pleasure of coaching hockey and baseball to individuals with special needs. I love macaroni and cheese, reading, colouring, puzzles, bubble baths and candles. 1502055332795
